So why CAVision?

Croydon Accessibility Vision started for good reason, Dayo was registered severely visually impaired in 2007 as a result of a sudden onset of Neuromyelitis Optica (NMO).  Without any real goals or any idea of what the future had in store, support had to be sought from the various charities and government departments that were supposed to offer assistance.  The only useful one was the RNIB.  The path now seems clearer though still blind, the liklihood of a career path is now possible.  The key is with sight loss being positive, being focused and applying information technology the right way for ones purpose.  With the variety of assistive technology and new information technology now widely available though at high cost, there's now more chance of achieving ones ends be it work or simply social.  CAVision would like to offer itself as a forum for long term or recently visually impaired people to support each other through technology or by other means.  If you have any ideas or you feel you can benefit from being a member of such a forum please feel free to contact CAVision.  Look out for CAVision on Facebook, Twitter and Youtube.
